As a mom who's navigated the physical, emotional and financial complexities of bringing children into the world, I find myself watching with keen interest as the Trump administration develops what appears to be an ambitious agenda to boost America's declining birthrate. The White House has been actively soliciting proposals from various conservative think tanks and pronatalist advocates to create Trump baby boom policies that would encourage Americans to marry and have more children.
According to a recent New York Times Report, "We will support baby booms and we will support baby bonuses for a new baby boom," President Trump declared at the Conservative Political Action Conference in 2023, a statement that has become a rallying cry for the movement. "I want a baby boom."
