Over the past decade, society has been dealing with a global fertility crisis. This means that the threshold for keeping the population stable and can replace those who are going to leave the workforce is below the rates able to support such. And a report recently published underscores this point by saying that much of the world's population is focusing more on work and less on having babies which means that without countries having innovative intervention there is no end in sight for a declining global population.
According to a report published by the Institute for Family Studies, those living in wealthy countries are placing more of an importance on their careers than they are on starting a family.
