New 'Go Get Married' Map Reveals Provo Region Has Highest New Marriage Rate In US

The Provo area has the highest rate of new marriages among young adults in the United States, according to a new interactive mapping project from the Institute for Family Studies (IFS).

The project estimates that an average of 132 first-time marriages occurred annually for every 1,000 never-married adults ages 22–39 in the Provo area from 2020 to 2024. The Fort Wayne area and its southern suburbs in Indiana ranked second with 106 marriages per 1,000 never-married adults, followed by Evansville and southwest Indiana with 94.
