Carter Skeel is Executive Director of the Institute for Family Studies. He previously served as Director of Institutional Advancement at First Things where he was responsible for business management of the organization, growing charitable giving and expanding the donor base. Skeel has also served as a Senior Consultant at American Philanthropic. Carter Skeel has been published in First Things, The American Conservative, Philanthropy Daily, and American Reformer. He holds a Bachelors in Philosophy from the University of Pennsylvania.
