Opinion | Hookup culture is killing romance

We all know a hookup horror story whether that be through a friend or lived experience. The question that always seems to linger is whether that fleeting moment of potential pleasure is worth the price of emotional and physical repercussions. Just because it may be the highlight of their week, does not mean it will be highlight of yours. 

Regardless of religious or moral beliefs, sex is an inherently intimate act. I think that is something most people could agree on. It is the closest you can get to another human being, rendering physical connection that frequently leads to emotional connection.
