In 2009, Emily Young moved to Syracuse, N.Y., expecting to party and do “all the crazy college things.” Instead, she ended up at church and gave her life to the Lord. After that, Young spent her early 20s learning more about her newfound faith.
About the time she was 25, Young realized she would like to find someone to marry, a committed Christian she could serve the Lord alongside. “I looked around, and I realized I was like 10 years late to the game,” she said. “Everyone was married. Everyone was in a serious relationship already.”
