With war brewing abroad and a crowded list of spending priorities in Washington, Congress is once again deciding what matters most. While there are countless ticket items, the American family must not be sidelined.

A recent report from the Institute for Family Studies and Center for Christian Virtue tracking marriage rates, family stability, and fertility shows a troubling trend: belief in the American Dream is slipping away.
